Matt Alder

Born and raised in Elmira Matt graduated from Conestoga College in 1996 (Construction Engineer Technology), and started his career ‘in the trenches’ while continuing his education with a General Carpenter Certificate (1998) and CGA Gold Seal for Superintendent (2001).  Always passionate about technology Matt quickly became the internal champion of job layout utilizing total stations, coordinate geometry and on site data management.  This lead to mentoring and training others and Site Supervision.  Matt always wanted to own his own business and formed Alder Construction Group in 2006 offering his niche services in total station and surveying to both General Contractors and Owners of buildings improving project schedules, accuracy and reducing added expenses from field errors. With his professional and composed approach Matt has built an impressive local client list that utilizes his technological expertise to deliver project results.  Matt fills his spare time coaching Waterloo youth soccer.



Chris Buchanan

Having grown up on a dairy farm Chris learned at a very young age the lessons of hard work, dedication and persistence beginning his carreer in the construction industry at the age of 17.  Chris eventually moved to the KW area graduating from Conestoga College in 1999 (Construction Engineer Technology) and spent the first ten years of his career in the field learning the business from the ground up.  Moving to PAC in 2004 Chris began supervising jobs and completed his CGA Gold Seal for Superintendent (2009).  Armed with field experience Chris moved into Project Management in 2009 quickly mastering all phases of construction and the art of successfully managing Owners, Consultants and Trades toward one common goal.  In his Project Manager role Chris was accountable for project execution of $80M plus of construction delivering projects on time, on budget with an excellent safety record.  Chris' superb problem solving skills have generated the upmost respect and rapport from both owners and trades in the industry. A father of four lovely girls keeps Chris busy chaperoning to dance and cheer and when time permits a round of golf.



Brian Denomme

Born and raised in Kitchener graduating from St Jerome's and the University of Waterloo (co-op) Brian obtained his CA designation in 1992 articling at Deloitte and Touche for seven years.  Brian then joined Tannoy loudspeakers getting involved in all aspects of the business moving from Finance to Operations, Sales and even Marketing.  In 2005 Brian joined Melloul-Blamey Construction as the Director of Finance to develop corporate strategy and improve governance within the organization.  Responsibilities included satellite offices, finance and all things 'non core construction' (new ventures, distribution, development, partnerships).  Utilizing his diverse experience and strong local connections Brian started his own consulting business in 2013 as a 'CFO to Go' providing leadership to construction and development organizations in strategy, structure, human resources and finance.  An enthusiastic golfer and runner Brian also is a Founder of KW Legacy.
